Lo mejor (para mí) del 2009

¡ Feliz año a todos ! Con todo el ir y venir de las fiestas, cenas y demás, a penas había tenido tiempo de hacer un balance del año que nos ha dejado, 2009, y seguro que seré un poco previsible... porque seguro que no soy la única a la que tiene temporadas con discos y artistas fijos. Pues bien, aquí está mi pequeño resumen de lo que ha sido más destacado para mí este 2009, musicalmente hablando:

Artistas del año

- Phoenix creo que se veía a venir, no he dejado de repetir lo mucho que me han gustado estos franceses, que aunque no son nuevos en el panorama, para mí han sido un autentico descubrimiento y espero que en este 2010 se pasen por Barcelona y pueda verles por fin.

Phoenix – Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix

- Love of Lesbian aunque yo no era muy partidaria de este grupo catalán, tengo que reconocer que han calado hondo en mí y que tengo muchas ganas de verles en el Palau de la música.
Love of Lesbian – 1999
- Los Planetas sin duda, uno de los nombres más destacados del año grácias a su recopilatorio.

Directos del año

- U2 : Su último tour ha sido de lo más espectacular que he visto en mi vida, era como ver una version del circo del sol pero dentro de lam cabeza de Bono. Sin duda, seguro que no habrá otro que lo supere.

- Sidonie : sí, aunque parezca mentira, el directo que dieron en Apolo fué increíble, connectaron con el público en seguida y salimos todos con ganas de más. Una grata sorpresa.

- Travis: en una sala pequeña, el resultado es una velada preciosa.

- The Killers: el concierto más esperado de toda mi vida, no puedo decir más.

Lost in translation

I preferd Virgin Suicides and Marie Antoinette. But it's ok. Or maybe I was just too tired to understand... anyway: I love Coppola.

Relator

Break Up

I don't beg,I don't borrow,I steal.

Everyday I hear the new album from Scarlett Johansson and Pete Yorn I really like it more and more. '' Relator '' is really contagious. It makes you smile from the first guitar chord.

I didn't like Scarlett's first album. It was too dark, and her voice too monotone and low, without any changes in her voice. But it seems that with Pete Yorn's help, their songs are really good, maybe without him it would have been another album more... Scarlett keep going on and don't worry about your voice type, we love dark women voices as yours!

up coming book

I have never had time for reading books which I really want to read. I hated when I was oblige to read at school. Now I have the opportunity of reading what I really like and it's awesome. Every day I love reading more and more.

To sum up, I spend a lot of time on the train going to the unity. So I am ''eating'' lots of books since then.

I finished '' Girl with a pearl earring'' lately. Really beautiful story. I should watch the movie again... Colin Firth is great - not Scarlett for me, sorry-.

Now I am about to start '' The parfum ''. I didn't see the movie when it came out on theaters so it is better because I can read it without reminding images from the movie and its characters, but I cannot wait to see it with Alan Rickman! Temptation...
